Serena Williams’ First Kids Fashion Collection Was Inspired By One of Her Earliest On-Court Looks

Serena Williams is digging deep into her on-court style archives for her first kids clothing collection.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion and media mogul has teamed with Janie and Jack on a 35-piece range of spring-ready clothing, swimwear and accessories ($18.50 to $175) in sizes 6 months to 12 years — including a new pink version of a lavender floral blouse and tiered skirt that Williams once wore.

Other standout styles from the Serena Williams x Janie and Jack collection include mommy-and-me dresses in one-shoulder and puff-sleeved designs (and in Williams’ favorite hue, pink), polo shirts and rompers in sunset-inspired ombré, charming wave-patterned crochet separates, cabana shirts and swim trunks in playful tropical toile prints and terry fabrics and a pink tennis ball statement bag. Rounding out the collab are bucket hats, headbands and hair accessories. The line is available starting today online and in stores.
The brand says a William’s daughter, Olympia Ohanian’s Wimbledon style moment sparked the idea for the collaboration. “Serena has been our dream partner since the moment she became a mother,” Janie and Jack president and chief commercial officer Parnell Eagle says in a statement. “Her vision and creativity brought a fresh perspective to every design, resulting in a collection that exudes her iconic style and celebrates family bonds. It’s been a privilege to work alongside Serena, and we’re excited to offer families timeless pieces that inspire connection and special moments together.”
Adds the superstar mom of two, “As a longtime fan of Janie and Jack, I’m thrilled to bring this collection to life alongside my girls. The Janie and Jack collection joins the 43-year-old former tennis pro’s ventures across fashion, beauty and media. She previously released a Nike capsule, and her portfolio of brands includes Wyn Beauty line (which offers products such as hydrating foundations in 36 shades and long-wear eye pencils and concealers) and her Will Perform line of body care designed for active lifestyles.
Williams was named one of Glamour magazine’s 2024 Global Women of the Year for her support of businesses mostly founded by women or people of color through her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures and her advocacy for Black maternal health and gender equality in sports.
The tennis superstar retired from the sport in 2022 and launched a multimedia production company, Nine Two Six Productions, in 2023. (She and sister Venus Williams executive produced the Oscar-nominated biopic King Richard inspired by their father.)
